After many years researching my own family tree I founded my genealogy company in 1998 (under the name ‘Ar Turas’). After a brief hiatus when I was pursuing other interests I re-launched the company in 2006 under its present name  with a new web site and a focus on providing an heirloom quality product and service.

I am an honours graduate of the School of Scottish Studies at the University of Edinburgh and my passions are family history, Scotland and Scottish culture.
